Live Free Designs is made of......

Jason Gordon

~*Jason is constantly pushing his boundaries in glass art! ... Back in the early months of 2000, Live Free Designs was born in a little garage in a small town in northern New York, which was home to Jason most of growing up. After seeing a demonstration of the possibilities of manipulating glass with fire, he knew then that this was the journey he wished to embark for the next chapter of his life. After observing and apprenticing under a few local glass artists, it was time to learn from some of the finest in the glass industry. Starting with  none other than this year's featured artist Jason Lee , He then went on to take lessons from Marcel Braun, Emilio Santini, Ease, Steve Gelb, and then G.E... All of which have greatly influenced Jason and shaped his existence in the glass industry today!
~*Jason went on to sell exclusively through Bern Glass, a leading wholesaler in the North East. From 2004-2008, Jason was the head glass artist of The Bern Gallery, located in Burlington, VT. During his time there, he competed in the first two Pipe Classic Competitions, taking first place in 2006! This landed him in the Cannabis Culture Magazine for the second time. In 2008, Jason moved back to his home town on Tug Hill in Northern New York. There with his loving and talented girlfriend Jozette, family and friends, they are now working towards making Live Free Designs a leading force within the artist community! Jason creates a variety of functional glass art including all forms of pipes, unique hanging plant holders, jewelry, vases and vessels, as well as marbles and creative sculpture!

Jozette Borrmann

Jozette wearing Live Free apparel featuring her artwork!
Upon her graduation of the University of Vermont, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Jozette moved to the North Country to join her inspiring and talented boyfriend Jason, and help grow Live Free Designs! Jozette has an extensive background in the arts, never being able to simply settle with one medium...she practices a wide variety of arts and crafts! At Live Free Designs, Jozette works as an artist as well as a sales representative! She is also lucky enough to apprentice under Jason, learning the skills needed to create beautiful and unique glass jewelry! Jozette brought her skills in the ancient Japanese ceramic glaze firing technique called "Raku" to Live Free Designs, which she learned in her time at UVM. Raku is a high intensity, almost primitive method of glaze firing ceramics (wheel thrown and handbuilt), which produces spectacular results that cannot be achieved any other way!

*Jozette loves painting and drawing, and creates logos & flyer designs, unique sandblasted glass designs, as well as designs to be printed on clothing! Live Free's newest line of apparel features her original artwork!...Jozette also paints canvases and murals with captivating and colorful imagery!

*Jozette is available for a wide variety of services! If you would like to contact Jozette about:
